This article will cover the steps to cancel your Cleveland Clinic Diet app trial or subscription and explain how to request a refund for your purchase.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription or trial, first determine where you purchased it.
You can check your bank/credit card statement if you don't know where you purchased your subscription. The transaction should list the source of the charge: Google or Apple/iTunes.
Canceling in the App Store

To cancel your subscription:

- Open the App Store on your iOS device

- Select the Cleveland Clinic Diet app subscription

- Tap Cancel Subscription

- Tap Confirm
If you don't see Cancel Subscription, it's already canceled. You'll see an expiration date under your subscription.
Canceling in the Google Play Store
If you purchased your membership in the Cleveland Clinic Diet app on an Android device, it's an in-app purchase through the Google Play Store. You can learn more about canceling subscriptions via the Google Play Store in this article.
To cancel your subscription:

- Open your Payments & Subscriptions in the Google Play Store on your Android device

- Select the Cleveland Clinic Diet app subscription

- Tap Cancel Subscription
After selecting Cancel Subscription, you'll see a date confirming the last day you'll have access to the Cleveland Clinic Diet app.
How to Request a Refund for Your Subscription
If you purchased a Cleveland Clinic Diet app subscription in-app on an iOS device, your purchase went through the App Store.
If you purchased Cleveland Clinic Diet app subscription in-app on an Android device, your purchase went through the Google Play Store.
Follow the applicable steps below to request a refund.
App Store

- Tap or click I'd like to, then choose Request a refund

- Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next

- Choose the Cleveland Clinic Diet app subscription, then choose Submit
If you were charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription.

Google Play Store
If you request a refund within 5 weeks and provide the requested information, we can issue it. Here's how:

- Open a support ticket by tapping or clicking the Contact Us button in the bottom corner of this article

- Please send us the receipt (must include the Google Play transaction ID clearly shown. This can be found in either the email receipt from Google Play (not PayPal) or by logging into wallet.google.com. The Transaction ID / Order number will start with GPA and look like this: GPA.1324-8563-1722-49305

- Please also share with us the email address associated with your Cleveland Clinic Diet app account.
From there, we can process a refund.
